Celebrated the new year in style - On the couch watching some guy jump his motorcycle in Vegas. Put Olivia to bed at her usual time after a New Year's Eve dinner at Chili's with her and her mom.
Liv and I woke up yesterday and just hung around in our PJs until her mom picked her up. I then headed to Ft. Yargo State Park after picking up my friend Thomas. We were meeting four other guys, but they were running late. Thomas, Mike and I put in one of the 11 mile mountain bike loops before meeting Terry, Gary and Lee in the parking lot. We rode another pretty hard lap, then took a break and did a shorter lap, but this time Terry, Gary and myself got a little lost! We made it back. Great sunshine, but a little cold. A great way to spend New Year's Day though.
Back to the grind today at work. Tonight calls for a beer, deep cleaning the house, and putting away the Christmas decorations. Need to start the new year with a spotless and organized crib.
